These terms govern your use of SitRep ("the app"), a Slack application built by Ammon Brown ("we," "our"). By installing or using SitRep, you agree to these terms.
SitRep is a Slack agent that reads messages from public channels you select, correlates alert-channel activity with team discussion, and generates structured reports. It also tracks commitments made in public channels and surfaces them in subsequent reports.
SitRep is intended for use by Slack workspace administrators and their authorized team members. By installing SitRep, you represent that you have authority to grant the requested permissions on behalf of your workspace.
SitRep is currently offered free of charge during its beta period. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, modify features, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
You retain ownership of all data in your Slack workspace. SitRep accesses your data solely to provide the reporting service described above. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is accessed, stored, and how it is handled.

SitRep reports are generated using large language models (LLMs) based on your Slack channel data. While every claim in a report is grounded in actual messages and events, generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Reports should be treated as summaries, not authoritative records. Use the feedback buttons on each report to flag issues.
We aim to keep SitRep available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SitRep depends on the Slack API, Cloudflare Workers, and third-party LLM providers, any of which may experience downtime.
SitRep is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate reports, missed commitments, or data loss.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ammon Brown from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of SitRep or violation of these terms.
You may stop using SitRep at any time by uninstalling it from your Slack workspace. We may suspend or terminate access to SitRep if these terms are violated or if continued operation becomes impractical.
We may update these terms as SitRep evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
